聖誕節

What do people do in Christmas?

People do many things to celebrate Christmas. They decorate their homes and gardens with lights, pine trees and other ornaments before Christmas.

People go shopping and buy all the things they need for this special festival.
Housewives are busy with preparing the feast in Christmas Eve. It is the most important meal of the year because everyone in the family is coming home.

Some people go to the church for the mass in Christmas Eve. Most people stay at home with family after the big dinner. Children are waiting with hope that Santa Clause will come and leave presents in the socks they hang on the fireplace.

On Christmas morning, people give presents to each other. They say “Merry Christmas” to each other and enjoy the rest of the holiday.

Japan

A Trip To Japan

~~It was in this summer vacation. My~~ ~~families~~(~~你有很多個家庭嗎?) and I planned to go to Japan to travel~~ ~~together~~ ~~on my birthday. Finally, we~~ ~~met~~(~~遇見一個日子????) the day in the~~ ~~hope(hope不是地方~~).

My family and I took a trip to Japan this summer vacation to celebrate my birthday.

~~It was the first day. All of my~~ ~~families~~ ~~and I took the luggage and took a taxi from Taipei to Taoyuan when~~ ~~the sun didn't rise(太陽不出來???)~~.

~~First, we arrived~~ ~~Taiwan(你在台灣無需強調台灣~~) ~~Taoyuan International Airport Second Terminal. Then, we apply the exit formalities. Then we took the airplane which went to Japan.~~

We took a taxi from Taipei to Tao-Yuan International Airport very early in the morning that day. After we completed the exit formalities, we got on the flight to Japan.

~~After two hours of the flight, the airplane landed on Kansai International Airport in Osaka.~~

We finally landed in Kansai International Airport in Osaka after two hours flight.

~~After we went down the airplane, I felt clearly the airport in Japan is not same with the airport in Taiwan. The airport is quite big ,clean and quite everywhere. Everyone was orderly queuing~~ ~~and waited to apply entry formalities. Every staff~~ ~~were(every是單數名詞~~) ~~polite.~~

I noticed that Kansai airport is very different from Taiwan airport. It is quite big, clean and quiet. Passengers lined up waiting for their queue patiently. All staffs in the airport were polite.

~~We saw the local tour guide in the airport. He is a Taiwanese, but he~~ ~~live in Japan for many times(住在日本很多次????). He can speak Chinese, English and Japanese.~~ ~~His face had smiles(無生命主詞不可以~~”有”)~~. He was very polite, he~~ ~~help(~~現在~~???)~~ ~~us to take the luggage.~~

We met the local tour guide in the airport. He is a Taiwanese but he has lived in Japan for a long time. He speaks Chinese, English and Japanese. He is very polite and nice. There was always a smile on his face. He helped us to carry our luggage.

~~After the~~ ~~tired~~ itinerary of the first day, we enjoyed the spa bath in the local spa hotel and slept there. The second and third day, the tour guide brought all of the tour group to many famous tourist spots. For example: Xu Fu Park and Kinkakuji Temple. The fourth day, we went to the Universal Studios Japan in Osaka, Japan. There is a recreation area of Harry Potter. ~~It made me impressive.~~

After the tiring flight, we enjoyed the spa bath in the local hotel and slept there. The second and the third day, the tour guide brought the tour group to many famous tourist spots. For example: Xu Fu Park and Kinkakuji Temple. The fourth day, we went to the Universal Studios Japan in Osaka. There is a recreation area of Harry Potter. It was very impressive.

~~If there is any time in the next summer vacation, I hope I can go to travel overseas.~~

We spent a great time in Japan this summer vacation. I have seen so many interesting things and been to many beautiful places. I really hope that I can visit Japan again soon.

Night market is one of the unique cultures in Taiwan. You can see night markets either in a big city or in a small town. There are always many stands. The bright lights attract curious people to go there and take a look.

People go to night markets to eat snacks, buy things, or just to stroll around. There are all kinds of foods, cheap clothes and novel toys. You can enjoy the pleasure of shopping without spending too much money.

In Taiwan, going to night markets became a special way of activity. Friends, families or colleagues go to the night market to spend a joyful evening together. It is interesting and relaxing.
